Staff and Expertise
HOP is recognised as an “Investor in People”.
All HOP staff are encouraged to take-up individual training programmes that are regularly reviewed to give them a good mix of on-job training and valuable knowledge from in house seminars and external courses. There is extensive opportunity for staff to keep up with their continuing professional development (CPD) at all levels.
All Staff are helped and encouraged by senior mentors, and our Graduates are all on approved ICE Training Schemes or pursuing MI Struct E via I Struct E structured routes. And our Senior Engineers enjoy a wealth of CPD opportunities.
Over the years we have built up an extensive portfolio of HOP 'training and information’ presentations, including PowerPoint presentations that we regularly present at local schools and careers fairs to encourage and stimulate students to take up final year ‘construction’ related subjects that could take them on to further education and a future career in engineering
Close links with local universities and college
We have established close links with local universities and colleges where we regularly participate at careers events as well as giving lectures, and we also lecture on topical engineering related subjects at various engineering institutions including CIOB, RIBA, RICS, and BIAT.
Please do contact us if you would like to know more about our involvement in staff training and development or would like us to visit or make a presentation/lecture at your education establishment, or click here to send us an enquiry.
