Highway Design
Highways is by no means a ‘small’ aspect of HOP’s remit. We have extensive experience in the safe and durable design of roads and highway structures.
Managed by our infrastructure team, our Highways work includes:
- construction of new roads
- 3D modeling - vertical and horizontal alignment design
- roadwork quantities for take-offs and tenders
- cut/fill analysis
- smaller road alterations and adaptations of existing systems (section 278/38 agreements)
- traffic assessments
- detailed design of road systems from initial pre-purchase planning enquiries to inspection and certification of works on site
- car park design of all kinds
- Safety audits and traffic assesments
- Liaise with Environment Agency to ensure contaminant interception meets guidelines.
As a matter of course we deal with all aspects of the Local Authority Approval process including being an approved consultant for a number of local authorities.
