Infrastructure
General and Special Civil Engineering
What is ‘infrastructure’?
HOP’s definition of ‘infrastructure’ is anything to do with:
- public and private roads
- drainage
- services such as water, electricity, telecommunications, gas, and sewers,
Projects involving infrastructure can be divided into three distinct stages and HOP can offer help and expertise within any of these:
At the Planning stage…dealing with such things as:
- service enquiries and capacity checks
- flood risk and contamination assessments
- site investigation
- highways and transportation planning
- environmental considerations
- service co-ordination
Through to Design & Approval stage…..dealing with such things as:
- highway and drainage design
- local authority and other statutory approvals
- sustainable design
- innovation and buildability
To Works on Site stage….dealing with such things as:
- detailed construction drawings
- contract administration and project management
- temporary and other enabling works
- alternative contractors’ designs
- diagnosis of existing problems and solutions
- site attendance and certification
HOP give practical, economic engineering solutions on time and with attention to detail.
We work throughout the UK and nearby Europe and we pride ourselves on our learning and training opportunities within the organisation.
We are happy to give early, often informal involvement and respond quickly... Why not get in touch...
