CDM Coordinator and Health and Safety Advice
The ‘Construction (Design and Management)’ regulations or ‘CDM regs’ place a significant responsibility on Clients, Designers and Contractors.
A CDM Coordinator must be appointed ‘as soon as is practicably possible’ at the start of a project and must be a proven suitably competent person.
HOP has extensive experience (since 1994) of the CDM regs – we even helped the HSE introduce them and gauge their effect as part of a joint focus group in 1996.
We have a good understanding of the qualities that make a successful CDM Coordinator and ensure a healthy and safe project for those who build and use it.
In particular, we like to reduce paperwork and bureaucracy, giving positive, practical help wherever it’s needed, when it’s needed.
