Power

Senior Directors have been involved in power, oil and gas, and related infrastructure projects for most of their working lives. This includes offshore oil platforms, major power station works in the UK and overseas, and a wide variety of supporting infrastructure including buildings, dockside works, roads and drainage.

Current/recent projects include:

• Design of all engineering works for the new gas-fired Ballylumford Power Station in Ireland, including all steelwork detailing, pipe supports, etc.
• Preliminary advice on forward operating base for a Petroleum company in Nigeria (including port works).
• Richborough mixed source Power Station in South East England (terminal for offshore wind, combined heat and power station).
• Various waste transfer (combined heat and power) stations in the South of England.
• Qasar Bin Ghashir pipeline, Libya (11 kilometres of pipeline and associated civils works, design, project management and quality control) – works in progress.
• Support cradles and terminal works to gas pipelines, Kazakhstan.
