Reinforced Concrete Detailing

We are particularly proud of our R.C. Detailing capability.

Our widely experienced staff, led by Phil Hedges, MIED, have state-of-the-art computer hardware and software (although we can still draw by hand!).

In our designs we always look to minimise sizes, striking a careful cost/benefit balance between steel and concrete whilst still being aware of matters such as sound and fire protection.

The key, though, is Buildability.

We regularly engage with contractors, including specialist concrete or steel fixing operatives, to ensure we’re designing in the most economic, understandable, programme and site friendly way.
