Our pre-acquisition service often examines sites even before detailed surveys are made and the purchase process is underway. These early examinations and informal walkovers often present hidden influencing factors that may not have been apparent on first viewing and which could be key in presenting either developmental benefits (and therefore better returns) of a particular site, or perhaps potential problems that could be costly in terms of time and money if not properly assessed at this early stage.

A site walkover and some historical research can often be good indicators to any possible environmental, contamination or other problems associated specifically with the site or in connection with any previous developments.  It’s at this stage that we can advise on specialised consultancy work that may be needed, saving you extra expense on guestimating whether to hire these expensive consultants or not.

We can then present our results either informally, or more formally with full reports exploring in detail key areas such as flooding, contamination or, for instance, access for construction.
