Steelwork Detailing

Steelwork Detailing techniques have advanced tremendously over the last 10 years and HOP has been involved at the forefront of new technology.

Our Design Manager, Phil Hedges, MIED, helps coordinate all steelwork detailing from inception right through to fabrication drawings as required.

We are familiar with all currently used design codes and we design to either Eurocodes, British Standards or ISO and Euro-Norm steel sizes.

We have also developed special systems for earthquake resistant buildings, space frames, long span, stadia, special architectural and artistic steelwork (even some sculptures in iron and steel!).
