Our Assessor wrote much about why HOP merits its Gold level accreditation, including:-
“… Of note are the way in which the firm takes its social responsibilities seriously and its involvement in the local community. There is a clearly defined ethos which underpins the way in which HOP operates and people buy into this ethos. HOP instils a strong sense of pride in its people and this has contributed to the high levels of engagement, motivation and morale.
The level of investment (of time and money) in training not only HOP staff but young people who express an interest in working in the industry is impressive. Although HOP is a relatively small firm people are given opportunities for career progression and management is good at spotting and nurturing individuals’ talents.
There is an empowering, open and trusting management culture where people are given a high degree of autonomy in their roles. There is also a high level of concern for people’s well-being and support for work life balance…”
