On Friday 15th September, the team at HOP took the afternoon (and first thing in the morning) off for our annual team building day.
🌅 Morning Energizer: Our day began with an invigorating session on Hove Lawns led by Jason from BeOutdoorFit. We challenged each other in various activities that got our hearts pumping, and some even braved a refreshing dip in the sea afterward!
🍞 Bread Making Magic: At the Open Bakery in Kemptown, our team got their hands dirty crafting delicious bread rolls and focaccia to take home. Thanks to The Open Bakery for hosting us!
🥗 Nutrition Know-How: Brighton Nutritionist Fran Taylor guided us through the intricacies of intermittent fasting, understanding ultra-processed foods, and nourishing our gut health.
🥋 Safety First: In partnership with Matt Fiddes Martial Arts South East, we learned essential self-defense techniques to keep ourselves safe and confident.
🧘♀️ Mindful Movement: Yoga in the Lanes led a rejuvenating session, introducing us to the Five Tibetan Rites and traditional 26+2 yoga poses.
🍽️ Dinner and Cheers: We wrapped up our day at Shelter Hall, enjoying a delightful dinner and well-deserved drinks together.
