Teville Gate, Worthing
HOP is providing civil and structural engineering design services for the prestigious new commercial building at Teville Gate, opposite Worthing Station. The new development will replace the outdated office block, originally built in the 1970s, that has stood vacant for years and kick-starts the important regeneration of this central part of Worthing.
The five-storey building will offer high-quality office space with electric vehicle charging and cycle spaces, providing more than double the floor space of the former building. The finished offices will be home for HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), providing a base for more than 850 jobs. The contemporary building will contribute towards Worthing & Adur Council’s plans to redefine Railway Approach and improve the vitality of Worthing.
The project is being delivered using a fully integrated BIM Model conforming to HMRC’s stringent Building Our Future Locations (BoFL) Programme all to BIM Level 2 as defined in PAS 1192-2-2013.
