Willmott Dixon Awards2021

We are delighted to announce that HOP have been awarded Design Partner of the Year at the Willmott Dixon London & South East Powered by the Best Conference and Award Ceremony.

We understand that the whole Willmott Dixon Team provide the feedback which is considered when choosing the recipient of the title, adding significant weight to this Award. It is a fantastic achievement for the HOP Team to be recognised for their dedication, excellent service and innovative design approach.

We have been a Willmott Dixon Design Partner since 2016 during which time we have been engaged as Consulting Structural and Civil Engineers on many fantastic and prestigious projects in the South East of England. Recent highlights include:

  • Brighton MET Pelham Campus re-development

The initial phase, which is almost at completion, includes a new £14m ‘shop front’ building within a large public space, housing the new centre for Creative and Digital industries.

  • Cobham Free School

The £20m redevelopment of a former Willmott Dixon office into a state-of-the-art education facility with two new state-of-the art sports and performing arts blocks, comprising: sports hall, activities studio, dining hall, recital room and a 520 seater auditorium.

  • Worthing Hospital

There are multiple phases of this project, all of which have been undertaken during the COVID epidemic in 2020-21. Complete refurbishments of the Multi Faith Area, Urology Investigation Unit, Changing Places, Medical Day Care Unit and On-Call rooms have been undertaken within the Live Hospital environment.

HOP values align with those of Willmott Dixon, with particular attention on establishing great relationships, harnessing innovative thinking, our people and sustainability at the forefront. Roger Forsdyke, Managing Director of Willmott Dixon Construction, London & South, comments: “Willmott Dixon only works with people who demonstrate excellence in their field and have values that align with ours. Our annual awards are always well received by our partners and this year it was more important than ever for us to continue to host them, albeit online.”
