British Airways i360

HOP acted as NEC Project Manager for the British Airways i360, the world’s first vertical cable car. We provided design and project management services for the grade 1 listed arch refurbishment and highway elements, as well as other licencing support and various temporary works aspects. This included a temporary landing stage to support a 500 tonne crane which offloaded the 50-100 tonne tower sections directly to site from barge.
